Designs for “Ubuntu Designs”:

A sustainable fashion brand (now on halt due to covid) asked me to create some designs based on the African word “ubuntu”, meaning “I am because we are”. It embodies the philosophy of showing “humanity towards others”, that all living things are essentially “one”. With that in mind, I designed two endangered animals, making sure to showcase their majesty and beauty, but juxtaposed next to their bare skeleton. The idea is to create stark contrast to show that if we don’t act to protect wildlife and nature now, we might lose these beautiful creatures.
